On June 20, 2008, businesses, animal shelters and pet-care professionals from around the world will work together to better the lives of shelter dogs everywhere.  

Learn more about how your shelter can participate in Take Your Dog To Work Day^® by visiting Pet Sitters International’s booth at the Animal Care Expo 2008 May 14-16 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida.  

First celebrated in 1999, Take Your Dog To Work Day^® was created to celebrate the great companions dogs make and to encourage their adoption from humane societies, animal shelters and breed rescue clubs.  This annual event encourages employers to experience the value of pets in their workplace for this one special day to promote pet adoptions.  

Animal Care Expo attendees are encouraged to visit the Pet Sitters International booth for additional information on this fun, proactive celebration to encourage pet adoptions.  Official TYDTWDay^® posters, as well as informational postcards, will be available to help shelters spread the word.
